Raised in Estes Park, Colorado, singer, songwriter and guitarist
Brad Fitch has been playing professionally since he was 15 years
old. He was a founding member of Fitch and Chips, a country/western
dance band that performed throughout the West during the 1970s and
80s. He has also been part of several other performing and recording
acts throughout the years, including Black Canyon Express, The
Elktones and The TropiCowboy Band, to name a few. As a soloist, Brad
has led campfire sing-along programs throughout Estes Park for many
years, where he was dubbed Cowboy Brad by his audience. In 2002, he
was awarded the All Around Cowboy Entertainer belt buckle at the
Aspen Lodge Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Though Brad s roots are in the
west, some of his fondest childhood memories are of spending summers
on the coast of Maine. You will find his love of the sea in many of
the songs he has written. Brad was invited to perform cowboy music
for the President of the United States during his 2001 visit to the
Colorado and has recorded eight albums.
Singer/songwriter Kathy Fitch began writing poetry as a young girl.
Her poetry forms the basis of many of the songs she has recorded
with her husband, Brad. She was raised in New England, working on
both agricultural and horse farms. When she s not entertaining,
Kathy works in the holistic medical field as practitioner and a
teacher. Kathy has lived on ranches and has worked at liveries on
the east coast and in the west. She now resides in Colorado, where
she finds inspiration for her compositions.
Brad and Kathy have recorded three CDs together featuring their
original music. They have opened for Rex Allen, Jr., Baxter Black,
