Many folks wondered why Kathy
was absent from concert performances during the summer of 2008. It
is because she had suffered a burst appendix followed by two major
surgeries. Her recovery lasted through the summer, which is why she
was unable to perform with Brad. Now she is "back in the world" and
feeling stronger and more vital than ever. Here is a message from
her:
"I would like to thank all of the kind and thoughtful people who
prayed for my recovery last winter and well into the summer. I know
I am as healthy and strong as I am now because of your prayers and
kind thoughts, which have been a true gift to me and my family. May
God bless you all and may you and your families be well and happy."
